Ask for the property’s full name, address and room category in writing. Similar hotel names can refer to different buildings, and online maps may use different entrances or routes.

Look at the practical route

Consider walking distance, terrain, road crossings, crowds, heat and how comfortable the route may be for children or anyone with mobility needs. Ask which gate or entrance the distance refers to.

Ask how any shuttle works

If transport is offered, confirm where it stops, when it runs, whether it is included and what happens if it is full or not operating. “Shuttle available” alone may not answer the questions your group needs.

Match room and cancellation terms to your group

Confirm beds, occupancy, adjoining-room requests, breakfast, accessibility features and cancellation deadlines. Compare the final written terms before making payment.
